REGISTRATION
High School Rowing Application and Waiver '08

Hours of Operation
Saturday and Sunday, 7 AM – 12:30 PM
Monday through Thursday, Noon – 8 PM

Our Boats
Fast, stable, safe boats, built for rowing on the Bay
Mainville 26 Pilot Gig (four sliding seats with sweep oars, plus cox’n)
Alden Ocean Shell (single and double sliding seat with scull oars)
Gloucester Gull Dory (single fixed seat dory)


Adult Rowing
Saturdays and Sundays, 7 AM – 12:30 PM
Monday through Thursday, 6 AM - 8:30 AM (experienced crews only)
Monday through Thursday, 5 PM – 8 PM

Each member can sign up for 2 or 3 scheduled rowing slots per week
Each rowing slot sends out 2 Pilot gigs with four rowers in each boat
The boats go out for approximately 90 minutes with a trained coach/cox’n

Novice Rowing
Saturday and Sundays, 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM
Monday and Wednesday, 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM
A novice rower is someone with less than two seasons rowing
CMI coach/cox’ns train novice rowers in the Pilot Gigs

Alden Ocean Shell Rowing
Available anytime during CMI Boathouse hours of operation
Open only to club members who have participated in a CMI Alden clinic
Weekday morning rows are available to CMI Veteran Adult Members

Dory Membership
Available anytime during CMI Boathouse hours of operation
Members who only want to row a traditional rowing boat, just to enjoy being out on the water or to land on one of our beaches Dory Membership $100

High School Crew
Train and compete in our Mainville Pilot Gigs
Coached by John Liffmann and Jack Buckley
Our crews are made up from all local high school students
