Thanks to everyone who came and enjoyed the fun at the Minot roundabout! To Dan and Evan for coxing, to Jack and the early arrivers for setting up the grill area, to Mike for manning the radio, to Alison for incredible caprese! to Bruce and Ed for thirst quenching refreshments, fruit salad and dessert, to Corrine for rowing a double and a Four in the same day and her first time rowing, to Jack and Doug whose families provided some youthful fun and presence and to all the CMI members and rowers who got to enjoy a beautiful day on Cohasset Harbor. 

In this incredible stretch of late summer days with sun and 70 degrees, our slotted time of Sunday noon included small craft warnings and 3'-4' seas immediately past Whitehead.  Nonetheless, a Four and two intrepid singles ventured into the wild (to about the first dolphin) before surfing back to the calmer waters of Bassings and Cohasset Harbor.  Another Four and double cruised the calmer high tide waters of Bailey's Creek.  After a hearty picnic of burgers dogs and other accoutrements, two Fours and two singles  headed up into the Gulf River for an idyllic cruise.  A wonderful fun, relaxing, rowing day for all.  Be on the lookout for Lynn's photgraphic record of the day!
